This lovely compilation of interviews is one of the most earnest and heartfelt books I have ever read. They shed light on partnership and marriage, and give a greater understanding of how people love one another in ways that are unique to their own situations. No two interviews are exactly alike, yet each chapter provides a beautiful account of how love will always persist and prevail above all else. I would definitely recommend this one to a friend!

This book is heart-warming, insightful and, best of all, hopeful. Sure, not every relationship you enter into will work out. The odds are against you even finding one person you want to settle down with, but this book is a wonderful collection of people who HAVE found love and WORKED at it. I think that's the most difficult part, the work you need to put into it to keep a relationship healthy, alive and full of love. It's no cake walk, but it's clear that these people are not only still in love, they care enough about the people they love to continue to bring out the best in each other and make an effort. I think this would make a wonderful gift for newly engaged couples to remind them that there will be challenges, but they can get through them.

Save an afternoon; this one's tough to put down! This book of love stories reads with a casualness that drew me in and left me feeling really good. The authors use of dialog gave an authenticity to the interviews. In every story, I felt I could identify with some part of the couples experience, even though we all have our own unique love stories.

This book is very unique in that it's not really a love story. It's a collection of stories (interviews, really) telling about love and how it came to be. I loved that each story was different and each couple found love to mean something different. Love is not just explored from a heterosexual point of view, showing that love does not judge between homosexual and heterosexual and neither should we. The young and the elderly are interviewed and we get to see relationships from different ends of the spectrum, from those just recently married and those married for decades. Each interview is just long enough to keep your interest and let you in on the inner workings of each couple. It's a quick, fun read and you may just find that you can relate a little to everyone in their understandings about love. I particularly enjoyed "Vive La France!" and "Fill In The Gaps." These are definitely two interviews that you don't want to miss out on.

Anna Bowen does a great and inspired job of putting together a compilation of sincere conversations with people who truly love each other. In her conversations you really get a feel for the individuals and couples being interviewed and their dynamic. At times sweet, funny and deeply moving, this is worth the read.

I bought this book on a whim and am SO glad I did. An incredible account of peoples courtship, love involvement, trials and tribulations and ultimate successes with romance. An interesting cross section of couples interviewed, ala "When Harry Met Sally" style. I read it in one sitting. If you buy this book, I guarentee you, you will NOT be disappointed.

I bought this book on my Kindle Fire- (very reasonably priced!) and started reading it immediately. I could NOT put it down! Logistically: The style of the book is very interesting- the author prefaces each interview with a short explanation of the people from each chapter, and then continues with the raw and unedited words of the two individuals talking. It is very easy to read. Personally: So very inspiring! Its great for generations of today to understand that love comes in so many different forms. There is such a wide variety of individuals represented in this book- it really gives good perspective. One of those that will make giggle, tear up, and contemplate life! It had to have taken a long time to put a book like this together- and it is worth every page!! Seriously- don't just take my word for it... buy it and see for yourself!
